[1901], 144p., profuse elevation-profile diagrams with a tipped-in folded map in colors (in good shape), "waterproof cloth" boards (so stated), all edges tinted red, no jacket, 3.5x6 inches. Covers and endpapers somewhat soiled, tipped-in ad for London map dealer, binding solid in front but beginning to separate in back. Only 1 in OCLC. Pocket-size book for bicyclists showing contour maps of English roads from town to town and descriptions of road conditions, gradients, normal travel-times and so forth. The fold-out map clues one in to ETA (add six minutes if crossing a blue line, or some such synchronization with this cartographer's system)
