Cover mostly occupied by a drawing depicting child in armor on horseback, raising flag with heraldic device and "Excalibur" emblazoned upon it. Anti-Sinn Fein periodical, supportive of public schools (as alternative to Catholic and other religious education); pro-Prohibition, supportive of restricted immigration. Contents include the first annual report of the Public Schools' Defense Association of San Francisco, various briefs on local events mostly involving naughty deeds by Catholics, and an article defending Admiral W.S. Sims, who had been censured for his comments about Sinn Fein. D.J. Gordon also published "The truth about Ireland: an exposè of the Sinn Fein Lie" in which he describes himself as an Ulsterman
