Baker, Captain DeVere

The raft Lehi IV: 69 days adrift on the Pacific Ocean

Whitehorn, Long Beach, CA. 1959, ix, 357p., hardcover, no dj, inscribed by author. First printing. B&W photos. Similar in some ways to Thor Heyerdahl's (much riskier) Pacific raft voyage, Baker's goal was also to prove that European or Semitic people traversed the ocean lanes in Pre-Columbian times. His inspiration was the Book of Mormon, thus the name of the raft.
