Curtis, a supporter of CISPES and an organizer of immigrant meatpackers, was arrested in 1988 on charges of rape and burglary and sentenced to 25 years in prison. The pamphlet includes a brief preface by him as well as photos of him after his police beating and arrest, pictures of support efforts, and portraits of those seeking his release.
