Manuscript for an archaeological paper or book. Author is the daughter of Ed Lofgren, wife of David Phillipson and a respected archaeologist who received her PhD from UC Berkeley in 1975. This is an early draft (missing plates and figures) of her third published paper (1967) She served as coeditor of The African Archaeological Review.
